Seminar on “Economic Partnership Agreement between the EU and Japan”

On May 10, The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and The Tokai University Alumni Association in Bulgaria held a seminar on the “Economic Partnership Agreement between the EU and Japan”, which was attended by Mr. Masato Watanabe, Ambassador of Japan in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Ambassador Watanabe gave a presentation on topics such as the development of Japan-Bulgaria economic relations since the visit of Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Bulgaria in January 2018, the latest activities and advancements of Japanese companies in Bulgaria, etc. Another detailed presentation was given by Mr. Georgi Stoev, Vice President of BCCI concerning the expected economic and business benefits from the entry into force of the EU-Japan EPA, the future goals and others.
